Finally got the activation to work going from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10. I originally clean installed Windows 7 Pro and activated using Daz Loader and upgraded to Windows 10 immediately afterwards, never touching the internet (had no drivers) but i had no activation roll over. Went ahead and clean installed Windows 7 pro again, activated using Daz Loader again, but this time got online and got all windows updates and ran the genuine advantage check. Upgraded to Windows 10 and the activation appears to have rolled over.
I got a NOOB question, can i upgrade now with my Windows 8 Key, and it will be activated forever??? and i can stay on the fast ring?? xD
only when I delete them but then again, when I restore them from the trash can, they go missing again
Scenario happen to others? Clean install, local account .. Settings -> Advanced Options .. Get Insider builds with the Get Started grey box. Change to MSA from which the install.wim was converted, so a known account to MS. Get Insider builds still a grey box. Looks like unless you opt in on a clean install, then insider builds will not be offered - really linked to your MSA?
The store in Windows 10 still continues to crash for me in this build. Started in the last build 10166. The store window pops up for a couple seconds, then crashes. Does anyone else experience this? Any fix for this?
the best way i found was to create a new local account(admin) delete the msa,(keep your files),then log in and then recreate your microsoft account,reboot into msa and then you can delete the local account if you wish.
I've been upgrading from Insider builds. Didn't start experiencing this issue until the last build (10166). Was hoping that it was an issue that would be fixed in this new build.
yeah, read something to that effect too. Clicked it anyway, rebooted and call the ambulance, I'm inside again.
As much as you do not want to hear it, upgrade and saving all your old settings and programs is what is causing all your problems, you need to make disk from iso or if you have one do a clean install, that will solve all your problems, you wont believe how fast and responsive your computer will be, add your backup program first, make a backup, leave it alone, make another backup for everyday use like when you add programs or whatever. But the first backup you will always have as a clean install.
