When I did the command, it actually showed it in her search box exactly what I said. Then it did the spinning circle like it was searching for an answer. Then she says, "I'm sorry. The internet and I aren't speaking right now." or something like that.

forum friends. no one is talking about upgrading the single language version of windows. in Brazil 90% of computers sold in stores comes with this version. It was up why I asked the Xinso the possibility to download the single language version to test.
I believe that computers of Brazil that come with Windows 8 single language if they want to do a clean installation of the system have to use the method I posted earlier. use a standard serial w10 single language and then change to p machine BIOS serial. it is very likely ... but what about the machines with windows 7 ???. if Microsoft is giving a new serial number for every computer in the world ... would be 1 billion new serial.
*shrug* I don't know if your hardware is on the MS lists or not. To be safer I'd recommend upgrading to 10240 to make sure the activation sticks. Then, you could try a clean install.
Because Insider Preview keys are no longer accepted. This was posted several times a few days ago. Before doing a clean install it is essential to do an upgrade of the existing installation and check it is activated, unique hardware ID is now stored on MS servers - thereafter clean installs to that hardware will activate as soon as you connect.
I had windows 8.0 KMS activated, I got a free MCE Upgrade key and upgraded to 8.0 MCE, I then upgraded to Windows 8.1 when it came out, I'm now wondering if my Windows 8.1 MCE Key will activate Windows 10? Thanks
im doing an upgrade from W8.1 with bing aka coreconnected to W10 Home aka core. i'll let you guys know if it activates or not in the morning. im off to bed.
friends, someone tried to do a clean installation of Windows 10 using a generic serial and then tried to change the serial through command line for a serial windows 8 and try to activate ?? Type in the command prompt -> slmgr.vbs -ipk "Insert Key win8 retail or oem"
So you will still keep your Windows-7 / 8 / 8.1 - Key / License as well after the Upgrade to Windows-10-RTM.
The IE key is just for rollback puposes. All upgrades store the previous key there if the new edition is different. Once upgrade succeeds the licence is transferred to a store licence - stored in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\ClipSVC\tokens.dat - that's the file that needs to be backed up. Activation is no longer controlled by SPP... instead by Client License Service (ClipSVC). Those having issues can try running that service instead.
