    Maybe, I did a reset clean this morning and didn't connect until after I checked the activation and it was still activated...at least I think that was the order I did it in. I have 4 more clean installs to do after the 29th and I will definitely check that then.

    my system came with 8.1 core, if i downgrade to W7 Ultimate and activate with Daz, then upgrade to W10 Pro are you guys saying W10 Pro will be permanently activated per MS? then i can clean install W10 Pro after the upgrade and it will activate?

    Yes that..there are hundreds of possibilities and nobody knows them all. Better yet just upgrade to core and be done with it. Have you ever asked yourself why you need pro anyway? Other than the fact it costs $20 more.

    I upgraded to 10240 from 10162 and most of my Modern apps don't launch, including Mail, Store and Solitaire. Alarm & Clock app has graphical issues. Anyone has the same problem?

    exactly what i needed to know, i truly appreciate it. Don asked if i need Pro and the answer is no but if its there for the taking...
