This is the RTM ... this is the version that the Manifacture is getting right now.. a german manifacture got this version too... BUT ... this does not mean that there could be a TH1.1 Version or something like that... microsoft itself says that the RTM has no real meaning anymore... so... i am happy, that i have a legit activated Windows 10 ^^ and "1001" activations left... (yeah... this has to be an wrong number ) ... and if microsoft release a new version on the 29 July... i will upgrade ^^
That's my plan too. I upgraded all my machines with this and I will do clean installs after the 29th either with this or whatever else they come out with if they do come out with something different.
not really... i only know that a german manifacture claims they got the 10240 build for there system integration ^^ ... and i mean.. it would make totally sence... there has to be a version for "RTM" ... but personally... i believe this version is "out of order" in weeks.. and microsoft will compile soon newer builds for everyone!... and i am glad to see that, because windows 10 still sometimes su*** and has errors (e.g. Start menu wont pop up!) which are so stupid!!! ... but we will see soon =)
Not sure if anyone is interested but may be known, but I found a way to permanently shut down windows defenders including not allowing antimalware service to start.
Activation remains, permanently activated. I didn't upgrade Win7/8.1 on my machine but clean installed fbl_impressive Pro Build 10166 on the day when activation servers were about to shut down and luckily I got activated before that happened. Then I upgraded to TH1 Pro Build 10240 when it was out via Windows Update and I was permanently activated. Then I did a clean install of Build 10240 just a few hours ago with the key ending with 3V66T and I was permanently activated again when I connected my system online. So yeah, clean installed preview builds are getting permanent activation. PS: I have Windows 7 SLIC 2.1 in my BIOS manually modified using HP NbDmiFit-2.06 but as I stated I didn't upgrade from Windows 7. I don't know if Windows 10 check for that on clean install or on upgrade.
