I did a clean install after I upgraded but was not able to activate. Does anyone know why that happened?
8.1 and yes it was legit. I upgraded to 10 and made sure I was still activated before doing the clean install.
you need to upgrade the 8.1 to win10 by running the setup.exe in the iso. before a clean install, and then a clean install. So majority consensuses says
You're the first I have heard who has had that..obviously your connected to the internet or you wouldn't be posting now..i wonder if ms has an issue. check it again later and do a reboot before you do.
Hello Everyone, I'm currently using 125% DPI setting. In windows 8.1 applications I launched ignored this setting by default and did not launch extended/blurry - I simply got bigger menu, text and other UI elements. However, in Windows 10 all of the apps launch in blurry/extended mode, unless I change them one by one via Properties. I was wondering if there is a way to apply the previous behaviour of how it was in Win 8.1 or will I have to always manage each app via properties to launch in normal mode despite higher DPI? Thank you very kindly for any tips! o7
That's what I did. I'm not understanding why I wasn't activated after I logged back in to MSA after the install.
You don't even need a msa, I was activated after a clean install using a local account. I do think something has to come from ms though or some here are saying..that's why i suggest checking it again later. dumb question but the clean install was on the same pc, right?
i was joking dude....so many worry about doing that thinking they will not get the free upgrade..... now me personally i will wait until 29
I installed x64 home and was not activated by the bios because my PC came with the core version, where you can download the core x64 version, thank you.
