Sometimes i wonder the same. I think M$ will make us all upgrade and then show their cards. I mean since you upgrade a 7/8.1 machine you have only 1 month to rollback, and then your key is gone. I don't wanna think about it hahahaha, this weekend i'll be downloading some 7/8.1 ISOS just to be safe. I like the Windows 10. It's not very different of the 8.1, the Start Menu, Edge and DirectX is the only "new" things at this point, i think.

Well, installed Windows 10240 Enterprise x64, activated it with xxxxx then rebooted. Activation still ok. Changed date to 9/1/2015, rebooted again and still activated. Imagine that..
29 is just around the corner....u cant get the free upgrade on enterprise....dont see the point of running that now
Mostly this is about versions that aren't part of the free upgrade, like Volume versions . With Home and Pro most should be safe.
Still one small little update you have to make it thru, then the big one on 29th, might want to close your eyes,lol
Just got my windows 10 activated. First install win8.1 pro and activated it using kmspico, then installed win10 and it automatically activated when it was finished. Will be trying to clean install later.
