Why can't people understand by now? There is no RTM by traditional meaning anymore. Windows will evolve the time you install it, and it won't stop. Build 10240 is said to be what MS gold partners and OEMs got. Sure there will be update available on GA day, and there will be updates continuously available after GA day. As long as 10240.16384 is what the OEM got that is counted as the RTM by traditional meaning.
My friend as a laptop with win7 ultimate activated with daz loader my question is can she upgrade to win 10 pro & activate then can she do a clean install & will it auto activate without imputing a key either during install or after install and would she need to be online during the up[grade process from her win7 to win 10 Hope someone can advise if it works
Home = no way to turn off updates or defer Pro = get updates but can defer Enterprise = can "turn off" and defer for an extended time Note there are a number of new gpedit policies and some registry settings that might be able to change this.
