I'm pretty sure that 10240 it's indeed RTM. They don't have time! They must have sent the bits to the DVD/USB manufacturing plants and make it available to OEM parteners. You can't complile a build only with a couple of days before and send it to be maufactured and preinstalled on PCs around the world, so quick. And... I saw that numerous times, with Windows 98, XP, 2000, Vista, 7 enen 8... Many people said that those builds were not final and so... and when they actually bought a new PC they found exactly the same build preinstalled or on their install DVDs. We we'll talk after 29th but belive me. It is the RTM!
wait 10 days and we see..actually the date is 29 july i don't believe they all got Upgrade in one day we talk about millions users in all OS qualify... except if don't want hours or days and find some iso's .. 99% the 29july maybe Microsoft Crashed hahah
I'm sure pc manufactures could simply download the newest build, if there is another one. It's not like Microsoft has to make and send out a gold DVD to everyone.
Is there anyway to switch to my MS account after clean install of build 10240 ?? I had to format my HDD and lose old activation Temporary I am using KMS activation but I need to switch to my MS account as an user Any Ideas ... Thanks
I read somewhere that current PCs are actually downloading windows 10 slowly and on day 29 is just simply installing the upgrade.
this is not problem of users ..this is problem of microsoft server's database i believe even microsoft server can't send automatically million esd's in the whole world and all download and upgrade same time..
I don't think this is true. They've stated that insiders will get the release on the 29th and slowly bring it to others in waves.
Meaning insiders will get it until the servers calm down then some other group till servers calm, etc.
I haven't seen one. I'm still busy downloading /upping that massive mtwei list. When I'm done I can try to figure out how to get it to download in a vm. I made vhd's for the 8 major skus. I'll try and figure out which reg keys to mod and check for images when I'm done. Dunno when that will be.
