Sorry, at this point when people are claiming it is buggy as hell or whatnot, is on the end user, hard to imagine it works for millions but since you are having issues it is buggy as hell. Most issues are driver at this point with a particular hardware causing issues.
This is interesting Not quite true. The server binaries of KMSv7 are already being distributed via Windows Update. Reverse engineering them is sufficient to emulate KMSv7. But I don't think anyone is currently working on KMSv7.
Ha here is the best, simple explanation of the free Insider upgrade I have ran across...could not be plainer. Free licensing from a previously being an Insider? No. You do not get a free license simply by being in the Insider Program. You can use the OS unlicensed by remaining a part OF the insider program, but that is not the same as gaining a free license simply by being a member
I have to, have you opted out of Insider program on Insider page at bottom, Leave this program and on 10240 theirs a place too you have to leave program.
Sorry bud Still don't get it. I'm using 10240 as my main os, but Have a small partition set for windows 8.1 (gwx) I haven't opted out of insider program in 10240 The only thing is that it's all updates or nothing This is seemingly dangerous as there are many exploits. I need to be able to select some but not all
This was posted 100 pages back in this thread, but it worked nicely for me running 64 bit Enterprise. Thank you pisthai.
I don't believe enterprise differentiates between them either. At least it didn't when I tested it in a vm. Maybe there's some secret settings I didn't see.
Oh I get it No ya if you continue as the insider your builds are timebombed... So it pretty much sucks to be an insider
I know there's a method to defer upgrades in home editions You can connect your home or whatever edition to WSUS through the registry But yea I thought there was way to do it on enterprise since they're on ltsb branch
