    test rig why do you even need to activate. And I even doubt if option to call M$ will be an option for free upgrade they already stated for the life of the machine and they classed changing motherboard as a new machine. your only real option if you need to activate would be retail version or enterprise if they do not change KMS.

    Um can someone help me with obtaining

    10240.16384.150709-1700.th1_CLIENTCORE_RET_x86fre_zh-tw.esd
    I need this for my Acer Aspire One which has a x86 only D270 Atom CPU.

    I tried both of the esd link generators and they just don't work.

    1. Install 10130 SL from DVD in BIOS in locale account. add BIOS-key. activation - yes
    2. Mounted 10240 SL iso. Run setup for upgrade.
    3. When 10240 SL establish - it is in the activation and it is in the locale account.
    :)
