How was your experience in build 10240?

Is it really ultra stable for you like previous Windows RTM or it's still buggy & unstable for you like a preview? For me, it's a little bit buggy. For couple of times, explorer.exe crashed & restarted itself.

If it's a totally different key then I would also try that kinda upgrade. Try extracting that full key and try a clean install with providing that key to installer and then activating on internet without Microsoft Account (use local account). If this works then I think MS may have given a new MAK key for Windows 10 to you. I have many KMS_MAK keys for Win7/8.1 available, I would also want to get free Win 10 MAK from them. Please report back or PM me.

Yes, its neither the generic Retail key everyone is getting, nor the GVLK for Win 10 Pro, its completely different, maybe this is the generic key for Volume_MAK upgrades just like Retail Channel ?
I don't know that as of yet and so can't publish until it is confirmed..

I will keep updating my Test Results post with all the findings.

Hmm, pretty much fine. No explorer crashes yet or ever. I'm only left behind by Intel Graphics driver. Stupid company hasn't released a driver for Win 10 yet.

    Hello,
I got 6 ESD in Castilian (s-s). Use esd-decrypter-wimlib-4_10240 to become ISO file. Now wanted to try to create an all in one, all or wild size will maybe try to do it in pairs or 3 same platform or as seme occur.
I remember other versions of windows with an ISO and modifying a file when installing wondered which version to install. Before going into whether to make this all in 1, if there is something of that amendment is achieved, not follow. You know, if it exists in Windows 10 something like ISO edit and modify something to ask that version installed?
    Thank You

Is anyone else noticing quite a lot of small glitches everywhere with Windows 10 "RTM" 10240? I'm running a "clean install", I upgraded from Windows 7 Pro to be automatically activated and then I did the full restore / recover or whatever within Settings afterwards which cleaned the entire Windows partition on my hard-drive and installed Windows 10 Pro anew.

But man do I have some very annoying and awkward glitches everywhere, keep in mind that I have not been running any Insiders build since the very first and gave up on the testing back then so these problems might be well-known ones, but man I did not expect to see any of it in the supposedly release version of the operating system.

    My first two issues is something I'm pretty sure most have something to do with the operating system itself;

#1: The context-menu is glitching all the time... By context-menu I mean the menu you get by right-clicking anywhere on your desktop or within Windows Explorer. Sometimes it has the correct size but it's completely white with no options showing. Other times it's working as intended, then suddenly it's being displayed in a completely wrong size with a bunch of dots in a vertical order for some reason, other times I only have a few of the topmost options available but the rest is white not showing any options and whatnot.

It's getting pretty annoying, luckily I'm able to simply right-click 4-5 times and one of the times it will mostly show correctly.

#2: Most applications that are supposed to fire on start-up is simply not doing it any longer. Things seemed to be working for like a day or two, but now barely anything is starting with the computer.. There is barely anything in the notification area at all. Things like Razer Synapse, Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, SVP Manager, Dropbox and the like needs to be manually launched after reboot in order to show.. One might think that, perhaps they are launching just not showing? Well they aren't, I've got Outlook 2015 and Skype to be launched on boot as well and they are not.

Those are the ones I feel very confident that are Windows 10 related ones and not due to some awkward compatibility problem. The next few quirks I'm facing might be due to the lack of optimisation and compatibility towards Windows 10 but God they are getting annoying as well..

First of, the Origin Client is not working very well with Windows 10 at all. It needs to be installed to it's default location on C:\ in order to actually work. When I installed it to my prefer location on D:\ it's not able to download or install any games at all.. But installing it to it's default location C:\ and it's working. The client claims that I need to accept some sort of UAC windows warning, but it's not showing in Windows 10 so that's rather hard to do.

Some of my Steam games are simply not launching, like Civilization V: Beyond Earth won't start at all. Which is a real shame. I've also noticed that some applications like the new Microsoft Edge browser will suddenly shut itself down without any warning at times? It's been at least 4-5 times while browsing that the entire application has just disappeared on me. No warning, no errors or anything it just shuts down for no apparent reason.

Last but not least, the graphic performance seems to sluggish. This machine is featuring a GeForce GTX 770 and even things like watching Netflix in the Netflix.app from the Microsoft Store, watching streams using Microsoft Edge like Twitch.Tv, YouTube etc.. seems to lag and hitch at times. And every time I start a game the performance is horrible for the first few seconds, which was not the case when running Windows 8.1 Pro. I suppose this has more to do with NVIDIA's Windows 10 graphics drivers than anything else, but it's still really annoying to say the least....

I have of course tried to run a elevated CMD and done chkdsk /f /r and a SFC /scannow but nothing. I have also tried to do another re-installation but I'm facing the same issues still..

Steam games are a known issue - please go into steam library, right click on each game not loading and select properties .. local files and verify integrity of cache. You may have to wait for any downloads to happen but rest assured, they should/will work for you.
For the glitches, have you installed mobo/performance drivers remembering that manufacturers will no doubt be updating their drivers eventually.
There are other issues that windows will no doubt be aware of and I'll be surprised once all is revealed, if performance does not improve.. kid gloves for now.

So I found a situation where installing Windows 7 and activating with the loader doesn't activate after upgrading...

I have a Lenovo Flex 2 laptop which came preloaded with Windows 8.1 Core. I wanted Windows 10 pro so I formatted, put Windows 7 Ultimate and activated with Daz loader. When I upgraded to 10 it immediately said I was not activated.

Reinstalled Windows 8.1 using key embedded in Bios then upgraded to Windows 10 Home and it activated. I did a clean install of Home and it remained activated. So it seems that for Windows 8 machines it checks the BIOS key.

I installed 10240.16384.150709-1700.th1_cliententerprise_vol_x64fre_en-us_54d610e4e51a30e8f3e2e404cb3694e2af376756 and transfer that with Win 7 USB Tool to my USB3 30 gb stick. Did a clean install. Did NOT connect my wifi on the startup installation. Have only a local username. When finish installation I installed the new KMSpico v10.0.7 Beta an run that. My Windows 10 Enterprise version is now activated. Thanks!!
