    It could mean that the IE version is the RTM of IE, unrelated to Windows itself

    It's really simple to me. I've done it so many times that i could probably do it in my sleep.

    It's the same build they sent to OEMs. Hence, it's RTM.
    Whether or not it's the same build we get on GA remains to be seen.

    Most of you it seems are confusing RTM with GA still.

    RTM - Release to Manufacturer -- OEM's etc etc..
    GA - General Availability -- Billy Joe Bob, Cuteee, and the rest of the world.
