Security Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3074663) first update received i instaled rigth now more fast instaling
KMS activation is your only option since you did fresh install. Hit the MTK thread in the projects section
I have 8.1 currently installed on my main pc, i'm not registered in Windows Insider program currently. I tried to enter in program but it says that new PCs are not allowed for upgrade. Quick question : if i download esd file and convert to ISO and do upgrade, will my system remain activated even if my pc is not enrolled in Windows insider program?
Maybe they changed their mind. This wouldn't be the first time they gave beta testers final bits after announcing that they wouldn't. I think it's on purpose to keep people from joining just for the freebies.
I will do, going slow as installing on some really s**tty old laptops here lol I know upgrading to 10166 and getting that activated then going 10240 works. But not fresh installed 10240 after yet. Kinda hoping 8.1 > 10240 will give me a unique key i can use to fresh install 10240 with.
ok, I heard an upgrade without insiders MSA gets and stays activated clean install requires kms activation 2 more tests..has anybody tried either of these? clean install and then login with insiders msa and reboot? same as above and then switch to local account and reboot?
after the upgrade i make it was activate so i use that command slmgr /xpr and say permantly activated
