Personally, with the whole 'Windows as a Service' thing, and the fact that the RTM was only delivered 2 weeks before GA, I wouldn't be at all surprised of the build string keeps updating *AFTER* July 29th. It will probably stay 10240.x, but it wouldn't shock me if the 'x' keeps changing after retail day.
i guess that's why my internet was down after i rebooted..had to manually disable and reenable my adapter after 5 minutes to get it back.
Not gonna quibble over semantics new build string vs new sub-build number..the string changed is all I was interested in.

Just installed PHDGD IvyDrive 2.0 (x64) modded Intel gpu drivers ? The system has gone a lot faster now on my laptop ..
Some of the ones posting here regularly should update their signature to present the often searched tools like the ESD decrypter . So much unused space doggies can see . EDIT: Compliments to Nucleus .
