I doubt it but hey you never know. Of course that would mean all those 10s of thousands of PCs being made would have a different base level code than what is on the ISO you are talking about..think about it and you will realize why it won't happen now that they have officially named 10240.16384 as RTM. There will always be future builds because of the insiders program but what we got last week is the base for everything to come.
check the esd files hash , with any hash verifier tool for ex hashtab , then use the provided esd decrypter in the first post
Either that, or they'll not change the ISO from what we've seen so far, and make everybody download the updates shortly after install. Very painful process for people without unlimited fast connections.
For past beta's it has always been frozen on the build number for the build they choose as "RTM" (old outdated term now these days) until day 1 patches are applied across the board until the entire OS undergoes a major update ahem win 8 to 8.1 It would be a logistic nightmare...however with WAAS model things may change...so stay tuned. /edit God I keep showing my old age more and more. /edit We have to stop thinking in the terms alpha, beta, RC1, RC2, RTM, and GA these terms simply do not work for any model these days in software development.
Has anyone upgraded a retail windows 8.1 but with office 2013( retail or volume) ? Does office 2013 remain activated ?
You are asked to activate it on opening Office 13 after upgrading (when I check on the confirmation that I am who I logged in as on the very system they allowed me to upgrade on using the MSA they allowed/accepted me to use - have done so many times throughout this insider testing.
Don't know for sure, but should on UPGRADE, Clean install well, yes or no won't stay activated Might activate again/might not
sure, I used pico on all my machines. works great on office but not on w10..haha. also works on office 2016 once you convert it to vl.
if you want the insiders hub you download it from settings/system/apps & features/manage optional features/add a feature, scroll down to find insiders hub, there was an update for it today.
Anybody having start menu issues like pin and unpin problems? I will pin something then it will not unpin and can not pin anymore, but on restart or signing out and back in what I pinned will appear.
I had the same issue with my taskbar earlier..couldn't unpin but they were gone after a reboot...i'm guessing something in today's updates is amiss
