Guys have a question for you all: after upgrading from 8.1 to 10 and successfully activating windows...in case i want to do a clean install and keep the activation...should i log using a microsoft account?

the point is that i don't understand how to upgrade and what are MSA and GWX! on a win 8.1 pc already activated, should i run the windows 10 setup and select "upgrade" ?
Normally, you will see this msg if you changed your group policy for WU to inform you about updates and not downloading them, which doesn't work on Pro from what I've tried.
Not necessary..I upgraded, activated and clean installed getting re-activated without ever using a MSA and I did it on multiple machines. You will have to move your screen down a spec when it first asks for your msa so the "skip this step" becomes visible.
