    Don't you wait for ISO in 29 july in your language with all the updates after RTM ?

    same happened in me after i upgrade my Windows 7 PRO SP1 OEM:COA i have upgrade it in this build it was already activated..:D be honest i always i use e-mail..:D but anyway its perfect i didn't make yet clean installation i can wait 8 days for make clean installation..so till then i have keep my keep and reserve in vmware..:D so i'm full for now xD now i don't know if the keys of win 7 or 8.1 geniune help or not cauze alot people have activated from non geniune keys in permant activation..:D so its totally mess and i don't know if microsoft want do it with that way except ofcorse is permantly and didn't timebomb (1 year)

    I can confirm that too. It will not activate without connecting at least once.

    Hello MDL!
    I would like to report that I just ended a chat with Italian Windows Support, and they openly told me that my build 10240 (Upgraded from genuine 8.1, then Clean Installed skipping product key AND permanently Activated via web connection) will become "Final" on 29th of July by simply doing Windows Updates, no reinstall/upgrades needed.
    (this confirms again that 10240 is true RTM)

    Also, they told me to expect a "cumulative patch" via Windows Update everyday till 29th... ;)
