Sinofsky already tried that when he placed order for win8 to RTM on 8888, but the 16 multiple rule made it a f**k-up.
sorry if this is said couple of pages back, but after installing the last update, the BuildLabEx now is :10240.16393.amd64fre.th1_st1.150717-1719 I'm wondering what we will get on the 29th ? an ESD file or a patch for the current build like those we are getting every couple of days.
Update to Win10 RTM build 10240 is not available in Settings, it says the system is up to date.. just in one of my machines. It's stuck on 10074. Any suggestion to fix that? got the rtm in all other machines fine.

Is this really all your going to tell people to do, no preventative maintenance, I can see some people here who keep there computers updated and in good shape but everyone else, if above is all your going to say, I see big problems coming. Indeed!.. Problems from hell. Clean the registry, remove crap programs no longer used, delete everything left behind from old installs. Upgrades are already bad, no sense in making it worse by carrying over old faults from a previous install. Unplug printers and any other attached devices not needed until the system has upgraded and then plug them back in. Use only your keyboard, mouse, and monitor. No external drives, nothing plugged in will help in the long run and shorten install time since the upgrade looks over the entire system and tries to prepare everything at the same time. and make a backup image of the entire system drive before doing so, if potato happens, just revert back and try again.
I think you should make a post for the 29th How to Upgrade/Install Win 10, How to convert ESD's to ISO's where everyone in this forum can point to that post as how to, without 100 deferent ways of doing it confusing people us included as we won't know what people did or did not do

Well you big guys keep this in mind, I have already seen posts well I don't know what you would call them, we may know what to do, but joe blow doesn't, and if we give them 100 different directions, and it does not work for them, I have to make 50 posts just to find out what they did or did not do, I'm not putting you on the spot, lol lets just all be on same page so we know what should have been done so we can help whoever, thanks
