I don't know if its just me but since installing the latest updates my copying files over the network speed has died badly, lucky to get 1mb a second when I used to get 9 or so on a large file.
Wzor has been tweet now : It confirmed it on July 9 as we expected was the signing, BUILD 10.0.10240.16384.th1.150709-1700 SIGN-OFF RTM
Yes I have the same issue, I am using a Realtek based 150Mbps wifi dongle. I will try with some powerline later.
Drivers, Drivers, Drivers..no doubt (to me at least) that the only remaining real problems with this OS are drivers and the hardware vendors hopefully are on top of it and will have some new stuff by the 29th. I see I had a synaptics update applied by WU today.
lmao, WZor was trying to get back some face without knowing the actual procedures, and last week he had been shouting "RTM Escrow" and "Not signed off". The time-stamp 150709-1700 is the time of starting compilation, and it takes some hours for the compilation machine to finish, after that, it's uploaded to MS server, the Windows branches need to download and install, make all the test-runs, if no major bug and all branches submitted their votes, then MS big-shots will sign off the build, it would take another day or two. Nobody(including Nadella, Myerson, etc,) could pin-point a day of sign-off before-hand because nobody would know if the compiled candidate would have major bugs or not.
I have no idea if your trying to be funny or not, Insider ISO use keys and MSA's, where Normal ESD's read your BIOS for OEM or Retail key code's. Let the people that come here on 29th Download the Insider ISO that will probably be out first and because it is a ISO, already made, no ESD-ISO, if regular people install that, then the BOLD print saying do not download this unless your a insider is not BOLD enough, there is going to be a big mess.
Neither do I as this is my desktop and didn't even know I used synaptics for anything, Of course I fired up my Lenovo laptop because I wanted this update there and I got nothing...
same here...haha surprise, surprise a do have a synaptics smbus under system in device manager and this is what was installed. (not sure what it is used for though) Synaptics driver update for Synaptics SMBus Driver
same here be honest i was have one laptop with touchpad but it was so noisy so i buy keyboward till is not working anymore..i don't like touchpads ...now only keyboward and mouse with USB Port
I am not a fan of touchpads either. Not even on macbooks..they can keep them all. I use a bluetooth mouse.
