It wont work on clean install. Even going 10166 > 10240 then reinstalling 10240 fresh after all that.. Not activated.
If you want a clean install, wouldn't a Windows full refresh suffice while keeping it activated? Not ideal... but would work right?
So far it looks like Advanced Tokens Manager backs up activation. So if anyone wants to restore their activation if they have to reinstall, I suggest using that program. Latest version is v3.5 RC 5.
I have the Windows "reserved" icon in the taskbar. Does that mean I am an insider already or do I need to register somewhere?
The only thing I've heard about OEMs was that thing that FaiKee posted. It was different than this Insider build, tho.
You aren't a insider. You only reserved your upgrade to Windows 10. If you want to be an insider check insider.windows.com
