I think WZor was waiting until he was 100% sure it was RTM by getting it from his own trusted RTM source rather than just re-releasing somebody elses release. Makes sense, no point taking the risk to your reputation banking on someone else having a genuine one when you're unsure if it is. There has been much speculation here over the past week if it was real or not also. It turned out to be real but still, If I was WZor I wouldn't take that risk either. I'd rather wait until my own guaranteed OEM source supplied a copy.
I'm confused, because I do not have neither the one nor the other Anyway oliverjia told cleary: they are the same: Code: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/62424-DISCUSSION-Windows-10-Build-10240?p=1089995&viewfull=1#post1089995
What the heck did you expect, a different file? How many times have I mentioned that uncompressed IMG files are the exact same as ISO files?
wait, since the wzor image says: "OEMRET", will it activate my HP 8200 Elite automatically because of the bios?
I said that in couple of posts behind bud I don't know why I changed my mind Shouldn't have I knew the truth all along...
No If you took Insider's RTM ESD, convert to ISO, and upgrade your legit 7/8.1 machine WITHOUT ever being insider, you will have Windows 10 RTM on Retail channel, and permanently activated. Exactly like OEMs. If after that upgrade, you want clean install from the same ISO, you can too: just skip the product key when asked, keep a connection alive, and you will be again permanently Activated. Tested personally with my Windows 10 x64 it-IT 10240 ESD to ISO, on a Surface Pro 3. Permanently Activated, receiving all KB updates and will be on the same GA everyone gets on 29th. NO insider.
