that's right, M$ is only removing activation of computers that never had a genuine copy first prior to being insiders, if you had a genuine install (or what they believe is a genuine install), became an insider and installed the insider version or installed the insider version from an iso, upgraded to 10 from 7 or 8.1 and then clean installed you'll remain activated.
Add "Disable Keylogger/Telemetry" to the List Just found this, so we'll need to add it to the list: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/57339-Guide-Way-to-Disable-Keylogger I didn't know there was a "keylogger", and I didn't know it was part of the "Telemetry". I thought telemetry was simple forced Windows Update. Now there's a keylogger. What else is there we all need to know about?
I'm trying to get the remaining coresl languages. It's very slow going. I have to install 10166 in a vm, add lang pack, remove old en-us packages, set-allintl, boot, go through setup process, install all available updates, and then when it finally shows all clear, I have to wait a day I know xinso could probably do it, but I wanted to learn how.
There is absolutely no need to be Insider (like I said I never was). Just convert your specific ESD to ISO (see first post of this discussion), burn it and upgrade from a genuine 7/8.1. Choose if clean install or not after that (just remember to Skip any product key when asked, and to keep a web connection), and you're set with final/retail Windows 10, forever The cool thing is that we can do this since 10 days ago... Unbelievers are not going to believe
That's right, there is no need at all to be an insider, I never was either. I said the install needed done off the insiders iso, or now off the oem obviously. I think it's in Microsoft's interest to keep as many people in their user base as they can, with people flocking away from computers to tablets and phones which can do a majority of the tasks the average person does, computers are rapidly becoming obsolete in many homes. That's why they've tried so hard to make Windows a tablet-like OS. Most people seem to use their computer for email, web browsing and so on, stuff that in reality is probably better done sitting in-front of the TV on a tablet rather than in a back room of the house known as the computer room or with a chunky big laptop on your lap burning your balls while watching tv...It's probably making us all sterile They really need Windows 10 to work or their days in a majority of homes is over. Apple was always barking at their heels but now Android and Google in general is a much bigger threat.
@murphy78 In this thread's OP, you said: I want to add here that, you can get activated W10 by upgrading through a MS Toolkit activated W8.1. I tested it twice. Both of the times, it worked. It would be good if you could add this to the main post.
Which network do you connected ? Public or Private ? After I install Windows 10 I saw and it was Public. Maybe it's at my only.
I'm still tinkering away on these coresl vms. If someone tests it on a fresh system that hasn't potentially be tainted by previous activation, I'd love to know
i had a weird issue after the latest update ... before the update got in action i configured my folder option ( Unchecked hide extensions) today by accident those settings were reverted to default ... what's up with that ?!
what is the diffrent public or private the most of us have in public...be honest i don't even know what is .xD
