[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Build 10240

    Well here kb3074686 and KB3074679 only says X64 base system security update to resolve issues in windows and KB2267602 that came along is Windows Defender Definition update

    just looked in the installed part nothing but i hope they sort out boot-time slower then 8.1

    It takes a long time to boot when you don't have fast boot enabled... But with it it takes 1 second :D
    And also still 1 or 2 bug I'm noticing here :)
    So I hope they fix those

    Yeah also fast boot enabled in bios plus notice no ring on start up with acer laptop i miss my ring :p

    For me it takes a couple of seconds on my laptop
    Same for my 2007 dell machine :)

    My laptop less then a year old but boot-up / startup take like 30 seconds compared to 10 on 8.1

    Is it possible to deselect an update for installation? wu wants to install an ati driver that does not work.

    I managed to change wu to notify and download, but not to deselect one update.

    thanks, the auto install drivers and not being able to deselect easily must be a recipe for disaster.

    Thanks drawing attention to make me check this after the update

    On a early 2008 Dell E6400 X64bit 10 Pro Testbed with Intel core 2 Duo P8700 @ 2.5GHz, normal hard drive with the 2GB DDR2
    it takes 20.09sec from pressing the power button to Right click and see options on the START Button

    Though I think its still early days so don't create traffic jam at your door since some would beg even if they can make it with a little instruction well tailored

    Don't understand why we have Cortana .. learns your voice pass throw all the hoops ask it something and get the bloody salient treatment if i wanted that i have my girlfriend for that ..? i don't need my PC like her too ...:D
