Broadcom here, and no issues with the update. Maybe it was a bug introduced as a result of them hopefully trying to fix the wifi DHCP issue.
It annoys the crap out of me how they say this at the end of all the updates Additionally, this update includes non–security-related changes to enhance the functionality of Windows 10 through new features and improvements. Why can't they say what the "improvements" are!
That security update is cumulative so I assume it replaces the last security update which was support_dot_microsoft_dot_com/en-us/kb/3074680. I see one change in the summary: Code: opens a specially crafted document or goes to an untrusted webpage changed to Code: opens a specially crafted document or visits an untrusted webpage
I don't know if someone already reported it, but a "Spybot 2 Search & Destroy (Free Version)"-Installation disables "Windows Defender" and can't be re-enabled without removing Spybot first.
They have three days to fix them..they are obviously trying to get as many updates in as possible before the 29th. I also think monthly updates may be a thing of the past and they will just roll them out as they develop them.
Probably true for Insiders, as they can deploy whenever and have Insiders test them, but I still expect a ~monthy release cycle for Current Branch. That gives MS time to recieve feedback and ensure updates don't have regressions before sending them out to CB.
monthly updates start next month 11/7/2015 with all other previous windows i don't think so microsoft change date of patch's cauze win 10..
I did a clean installation of windows 10 after upgrading and noticed my internet was not working smoothly i.e a webpage would sometimes hang and not load and id have to just refresh a few times and it would work. So i decided to look into my network adapters and OMG! check out my screenshot, what is going on here? and how do i fix this? I should only have 2 adapters 1 wireless and 1 ethernet. This is probably the cause of my internet not working correctly. Any ideas?
Nope no virtual software what so ever, only thing that really would have anything to do with the network adapters is bitdefender total security or malwarebytes, other than that there is nothing that will be interfering with it.
uninstall that AV crap, delete all entries except the original ones or even better delete all and reinstall the two you need
What do you mean, uninstall the "av crap" , isint bitdefender one of the best antiviruses and required to fully protect me? and also malwarebytes is good for removing malware stuff?
Industry forged snake oil to fool you, nothing else. get rid of that sh!t, build in MS-AV is good enough to prevent you from unwanted stuff. Use your brain and you are done
I read somewhere, forgot where, that Windows 10 Danish would be avilable mid to late August, does anyone know of any source confirming this? As I don't see why "we" should get it later.
