It will update fine, and activate. Advanced Token Manager gives me the same key as everyone else ended up with here on Windows 10. But running a keyfinding VBS script has given me a different key. Odd.. So naturally I went to reinstall 10240 fresh from boot. When you have to enter a key i tried to enter the unique key that i got from the VBS script and it don't work. :/
That links are from other user. In the morning (it's 16th in Spain) I will try to create mirrors in another server.
That's why i asked him if he has any Core es-ES ESD or ISO... BTW, Has anyone updated a Win 7 Home Premium machine, and confirm being activated? As long as i have read, after the upgrade, the key will be the same, and attached to your Microsoft account, isn't it?
Why i can't download from ESD database ? Getting a msg from ESD Download Link Extractor that some of the info i entered is wrong. Anyone manged to get 10240 ESD from here ? Thanks.
I think this build is RTM Escrow, we may have another build before 29/7. and if all is good with this build (insiders feedback will determine that) they will sign it off as RTM. Wzor mentioned an interesting case about windows vista, that may happens with this windows 10 Escrow build, we may have a patch on 29/7 as insiders to patch this build number to the final RTM build number if it's all good with it as an RTM build.
Everyone... I created an ISO from my own ESD that I downloaded via windows update. -I clean installed the machine. -I refused to enter a product key at installation -I refused to enter a product key at the end of installation -I refused to use a Microsoft account (Created local account) -I never typed any personal detail at all about myself into the installation. slmgr -xpr says "Windows(R), Professional edition: The machine is permanently activated." Is the ISO I created specific to me? How am I even activated?
If the upgrade doesn't work (resulting to a generic key), so it's not the final version. Maybe good enough for OEM integration, but not ready for the promotion.
