look be honest i'm very noob in this one put i will trust your Experience you know much better than me so be honest i never read this faikee till now!!! anyway i will always follow the logic and people who have experience in this one... works on me 100%
Afaik product.ini is ONLY shipped with RTM Enterprise builds and is THE REAL DEAL. And it shows the generic Upgrade Keys and not any ""Insider"" ones as promoted by FaiKee.
It has been very clear. If you upgraded from Win7/8/8.1 genuine licence on an activated state, they Win10 will be permanently activated too, doesn't matter July 29 or any other time. The "expiration" thing that Faikee mentioned referred to the "activation" inherited from the preview builds, AND only after you opted out insiders program, AND after some grace period. What I saw from this forum, most ppl upgraded from Win7/8/8.1. So no worries, we are all covered.
yeah 2 days left only...till then i can go my dog couple hours for walking before my eyes become blue for waiting press my click in WU...
There's still the FISHY MAK for 'managed' Win 8/8.1 versions that puzzles me (and even Daz ... see chatbox) .
Installed the new Nvidia updates (previous one was crap), got to 50% installed and just hung, had to do a restart to finish, this time they work fine, but I did not have the Nvidia installer come up, they just installed without it, screen flashed once then installer hung. All fine now though after reboot.
I've been running this for 2 days now and in my opinion this build has not been finished off. There are a lot of pieces (like the Calendar tile app) which show that this is an early release. I understand why this was done (commercial reasons) but I don't have to like it. In comparison W7 was a far better product. We all know (at least I think we should know) that frequent updates eventually destroys the OS. Not looking forward to the patching process at all... -.-
yeah that happened and before..i'm not say is perfect but we can wait 1-2 months and take opinions if worth have it or throw it in carbage...
Microsoft conveniently calls it "WAAS: windows as a service", meaning they will continuously deliver feature updates, security patches throughout the life of Windows 10. Sounds promising, however I see it as a potential disaster. Many OS will be borked along the way. IMO, it's just a well disguised excuse for Microsoft's lousiness and incompetent to deliver a solid product that is less prone to be infected. Consumers buy computers to use it, not to keep updating it. I almost want to puke everytime I see that dreaded "Updating, please don't turn off your computer" message.
After installing windows 10 i'm not able to configure any of my emails like(yahoo, gmail and outlook) in Mail app. After adding these email accounts if i try syncing i'm getting this Windows cannot sync error ERROR Code : 0x8000ffff. Someone please help.. I have tried reinstalling the windows but still the issue persist.
anybody else notices that the last 2 fixes (fix and the fixes fix) causing webpages render issues!!! sometimes they're fixed by just a refresh but at other times there not until the 2 are uninstalled, i noticed it on both Edge and Firefox (which is strange)
Yeah have notice some of this in the comments for me everything been fine and since yesterday 17 updates ..
