    One question. I have Windows 10 10162 x64 Pro es-mx, right now WU is downloading 10240 .esd, the question is: after Windows install this update, the .esd file is deleted automatically or not ? I need this esd for install Win10 in another machine with Windows 8.1 Pro (after convert ESD -> ISO, of course)

    Any ideas as to why I cant optimize my RAID drives, and also why they are detected as SSD drives?? Never had this problem in 8.11? Latest RST drivers are installed.

    Says 'optimization not available', and button is greyed out?

    What the?! I just clicked link to store in Activation tab. It just gave me the option to upgrade to pro from the Store and just asked if I had saved everything. I clicked yes and it restarted couple of times and now it's Pro and activated :confused: Well, works for me. But how, why and what?

    Does anyone have any idea about converting the Windows Update .etl files into .log files. I've tried using Get-WindowsUpdateLog in Powershell as suggested in WindowsUpdate.log but the output file is full of entries like "Unknown( 112): GUID=c37ec946-2771-a374-4e72-4008543f5168 (No Format Information found)."

    Actually, I want to grab the download link of cab files of features on demand (OCR, HandWriting, TextToSpeech and Speech) from Windows Update log. Has anyone ever looked into it? Thanks.

    hmm there was a thread about this recently. You need the symbols program and trace program. I forgot.
    IMO it's easier to dig through the datastore.db with notepad and look for links.

    After the install is over it gets deleted IIRC. You can always re-download and make it into an iso with the decrypter program tho. Links are in the OP.

    Not worried it's a good thing. Hopefully activation stays even if I have to clean install at some point.

    Are you sure it didn't charge you $99..do you have a CC associated with your MSA?

    I believe there should be some kind of confirmation before and after(email). Nothing.

    might be a bug then. i didn't click when it said it would be $99 but i do have a card tied to the msa. i'm going to see if there is a way to remove the cc and then try it again.

    I'm sorry. I was hoping someone would chime in. There's supposedly a reg fix to associate things with the old photo viewer program, but I'm not sure which ones are needed.

    There was no price mentioned anywhere. It was something like "Start upgrade" etc.. If this works like this and does not come deactivated and activation stays even if I clean install I'm happy :clap:
