Keep in mind we didn't pass GA ... so no-one knows what will happen when the new Activation Process will start .
I like how everybody reporting Microsoft releases Windows 10 build 10240 for PCs, doesn’t confirm it’s the final RTM version even it it was RTM there would be a lot more people downloading it.. So its good they don't come out saying its RTM and keep testing it out ..
I updated my laptop that had genuine 8.1 to the Insider builds and then I upgraded 10162 to 10240 and I also get the "The machine is permanently activated" message. I also used the same MSA that I signed up with.
So basically this means, Windows will activate itself without even entering a product key or Microsoft account if it recognizes your hardware. So for all those asking about how to activate a clean install... go ahead and do it. It will activate if you have run an insider preview in the past on that hardware?
Idid udate my system from build 10162 to 10240 , everything is working fine but (goove music,Movies&TV,store) apps crush immediately after lunch them !!!!

I JUST pulled it from the update I'm running on a virtual machine, I tried to use the link ~10sec after, denied. How else can I pull the ESD?
I currently have the 10240 update downloading on a virtual box. Someone tell me how to pull the ESD and I will get you the Pro x64 ESD.
