Anyone know the total size of Win 10 download

 

the folder will be large because its extracting the image file along with the setup files.

 

mine is still what i last posted, it hasn't restarted.

5,930,091 KB plus whatever it put into \windows\software distribution and it definitely put something there because today's date is all over it.

 

It doesn't install it self does it

 

not yet..my understanding is ms will send out a popup saying it is ready to install and give you the option to install now or later. i would think everybody who got it downloaded today may get that sent out tomorrow.

 

and if you're not getting it yet make sure you are up to date on WU and reboot a couple of times. I'm not sure the WU is important but I had to reboot each of my machines 2 or 3 times before the download started.

 

I believe that would be upgrade only, you would have to make ESD-ISO for clean install, wouldn't you

Maybe abit early and a daft question but can I be in the insider program on one partition and also have a Legit 8.1>win 10 Upgrade on another using same Hotmail(msa) and hwid or will there be a clash somewhere?

I'm going to reconfirm. The people who upgrade last week from 8.1 to 10 will still ramin activated?

Are people trying to install today's dl from MS? I don't think it is finished..my new os folder is empty...haha. So that 5.9 GB has an empty new os folder...

 

We should know before that as people install overseas
