There is an autorun there and a setup.exe....Run setup see what happens. Looks like all the files are there and there won't be an ESD also fits on DVD so burn bootable DVD and see what happens.
I hate to say this but please be sure when you tell people stuff, you know for sure, this is a whole OS and alot of work for those who get incorrect info here, lol
They're my kids' pcs..I already did more than I planned to do. You are right though there is a setup and an autorun. It looks like any other extracted ISO with the exceptions of having a Drivers folder, Updates folder and I think there was one other that didn't look familiar.
I will let them have their fun. My PCs are a different story, all are upgraded and three are clean installed...so you know I'm not worried about them self-destructing at Midnight
Are sub-build updates new or were they around for previous versions of Windows? What would require a full build update?
I am currently 50% into the Win8.1 to Win10 upgrade (Installing features and drivers) using the "wuauclt.exe /updatenow" method. I also made a ISO from the Windows.BT\Sources\Install.esd file. When my installation is complete and I activate, can I then format and do a clean installation with the ISO and still be activated? I have just read somewhere that this process only works with the WZOR iso, not the one created from the Install.esd that was pulled from windows update. Can anyone confirm?
