    Nice find...so if the SHA1 matches that means it's the exact same file bit for bit? I'm assuming that's what it means? (not familiar with the terminology)

    Yeah. No two hashes are equal if the file is not the same.

    yeah Im confused as to why I have 10.0.10240.16384 I downloaded every single update so not sure what Im lacking

    Only surprise will be if all those people who stated that the original ESD files posted here now ages ago were not the same as the ESD;ISO files on launch and we shouldn't have upgraded need to apologise!!!!!!!!!!!

    Just got the message about upgrading to Windows 10 but I want to put it in an ISO file so that I can do a clean installation once I upgrade how do I go about doing that

    Just grab the right ESD file from this thread, or the Wzor Iso from here, or the Official Iso from M$, ALL THE SAME

    Although I have a Win 7 pro licence key while installing 8.1 I activated it through KMS (silly for me). I installed Win 10 10240 enterprise and it was not activate. I reverted back to Win 8.1.
    Now can I install Win 10 pro version over the Win 8.1 and keep it activated?
