It's not just you. It is a SFX that creates the $Windows.~BT folder and stuff. It seems to lag for like 20s to a minute when you open it.
You mean a different build? not to my knowledge. If you're just talking about the updates, we posted 3074683 in the hotfix thread. It's a rollup.
It's crazy, I just used it to download ISO, that's it, I clicked on downloaded ISO to upgrade saved everything, then burn to disk ISO, then clean installed, asked for key 2 times, first time skipped, second time "Do it later" Happy Camper now
More Nonsense - I have 3PCs - 1 on Windows 10 - 2 on Windows 8.1 No sign of the folder $Windows.~BT on 10 machine or one of the 8.1 machines, but does appear on the other 8.1 machine, which is my main machine, and do not want to change at the moment. On the 10 machine has it updated automatically, and then deleted folder? I am showing hidden files on all 3 machines. Now got the ISO and planning to do a clean install on the 10 machine, which will replace the WZOR install.
nothing will happen on the 10 machine, have you been completely ignoring all the posts on this forum? the wzor release is the exact same one that MS are pushing out via windows update!
Well here I am, it's the 29th and none of my machines became deactivated...whoa is me...and nothing has changed in the build we have had for two weeks...what's a person to do?
I got a little glitch after today's update; KB3074683. For like 5 minutes I could'nt click the start menu, I could open chrome from my desktop and browser the internet though.. weird
the iso page does work from time to time. its currently back up for me. but the ISO page are MSDN multi-edition core/pro isos. No you choose home or pro, but Media Creation tool can create x64_x86 combos.
Actually they are dual editions. "Windows 10 editions below are valid for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro." mediacreationtool rashes every time I run it about 80% in but this works.
My upgrade f**ked up. My network drivers are installed but windows can't find a hardware than connects to network.Also express cache is not working Currently upgrading this corrupted installation with windows 10 iso downloaded from Microsoft website.. I hope this fixed my network issues

Hello I have one PC running the RTM from a couple of weeks ago The other is still on 8.1 with a reserved upgrade Once the 8.1 machine upgrades to 10, will the activation carry over to my Win 10 RTM machine at all? I'm really clueless to how it all works. If that doesn't sound like a likely scenario, is there any way to activate the RTM or are we still waiting on something for that? Thanks for any help..
I've got one question... Whatever happened with all the improvements to CMD (Command Prompt) that Nadella promised at the very first conference where Microsoft revealed Windows 10? Didn't he talk about and promise how much better Windows 10 would be for "IT-professionals" talking about how keyboard shortcuts like CTRL+C, CTRL+V etc would finally work directly in a CMD window? They did also show a transparent CMD-windows as well as talking about users being able to change background colour and text colour. I can't seem to find any of these enhancement in Windows 10 Home or Pro whatsoever? CMD behaves just as fiddly as before, with no support for keyboard shortcuts, no options for background transparency, colours or anything?
So.... All my machines say up to date when checking for update..... What gives? No updates from Ms? Are we good? All I can ever find is first part of version# how do you see full version > very only shows part of version for me...
