thats exactly what i wanted to know if was possible. btw i am now but im making a 64 bit and 32 bit disc in one. pretty neat. and yes i have multiple 32 and 64 bit machines .
You choose which version of Windows 10 you want to create media for. Windows Home, Windows Pro, etc. Doesn't matter what computer you download it from. If you need more than one version for different machines just create them from that site with the Media Creation tool. You can make either USB flash or ISO for DVD.
K cool.so since my PC is windows 8.1 home I need to create a windows 10 home ISO disc, which I will create by clicking on Create installation media for another PC because if I choose Upgrade this PC now it wont be able to create a disc right? Then after its created, I can do the upgrade by double clicking the icon after I burn it to disc, then after its upgraded I can do a clean install..Since my PC is home, I cant upgrade to a pro version of windows 10 so I will just stick with the home version of it One more thing, my laptop I downloaded the faikee version of windows 10 a few days ago and installed it. Im hoping it was NOT the preview version or anything its build 10.0.10240.16384 but when I go to update and security it mentions the Insiders Build so that made me nervous but if everyone has that then its Ok..thanks I appreciate your help!
Yes select for another PC and get the ISO or have it burn it to a DVD at the end of the download. You can use that DVD on the other computers. To do the first time upgrade, run the setup program on the DVD you downloaded and do from within Windows. After that you can use the DVD to fresh install and it will activate if you want to do that. You don't have to do it. The faikee DVD I don't know and haven't used. But seems you have the correct build from what you posted.

The iso's made with the media creation tool have no verifiable sha1 hash, every time you create one it has its one sha1 checksum. Only msdn iso's have the same sha1 checksum.

So ISO which downloaded via media creation tool in the end of the process automatically do hash check. Right?? And donnt have chance to get corrupt?? Thanks, I will check the link now. Great thank you I really appreciate you letting me know. I just wanted to be sure about my laptop since I have read about different build numbers, some tell me the one I have is the latest while others have something else its really confusing..also when you go to update and security it mentions the Insider Build at the bottom thats why I was confused and thought maybe its just a preview build or something because if it is I will have to wipe the hard drive clean again and install the right one but if everyone has it the same way I will leave it alone. Besides, Im not sure if I did a clean install again if the serial # that I have would work again(On the laptop)
I'm still confused what activated Insiders are supposed to do if they want to format their hard drive. What ISO do I use? What keys do I use?
You need to have updated a Genuine install of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 when you installed the insider build or stay on insider. If you updated to the preview from a one of those systems, you should be able to clean install and activate. If not updated to preview from one of those activated systems, you would need to install either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 activate it and then upgrade to be able to clean install. There are no keys to use as it is activated based on a Hardware hashed ID stored on Microsoft activation servers.
When I originally upgraded my laptop, I had windows 8.1 PRO on it..then I installed that faikee version which I thought was final but since I see Insider Build when I go to updates and security I guess its not and I have to do a clean install again..just want to be sure about how to go about doing this(On the laptop I mean NOT the desktop) can I go to that same media creation tool web site(from the laptop) create an ISO image of Windows 10 Pro and then do a clean install of it since this is the FINAL one and I will be activated once I do it just want to be sure..and my windows 8.1 that I had was genuine, I did the phone activation method to activate it originally..desktop is different that one came with legit windows 8.1
