Its OK and I apologize for asking the same question over and over but I just need to know.and Im not understanding how this all works.

You will receive updates and that little number will increase, and it will happen again and again. Don't think of it as the "final" version, since it will be continuously updated and always up to date. As for the other thing, I see it on another machine, don't worry about it, if you press it it takes you to recovery options and on a clean install it only shows either reset or reinstall.

 

Some people have a different build but I guess when you go to cmd and type in slmgr /dlv everyone has the same build, its just when you go to explorer.exe some are getting a different build which confused me..how about in advanced options in system updates..seeing "Uninstall Latest Preview Build" and under updates seeing GET INSIDERS BUILD is that normal to see?

 

All start with same build, as said it's Windows Update that makes the only difference.

nothing, all the same.

ok - ESD files are for a specific version only, you hunt your preference and get that, so its compact and specific
The ISO RTM files have a couple of versions muddled together and you choose on installation which you want

 

was bored so i installed windows 7 and used daz loader to activate and then upgraded to 10 it stayed activated and backed up my activation using microsoft toolkit and restored it on my main drive with windows 10 pro uefi and it worked free licence woot

 

Backup is pointless, activation still needs net contact (MANDATORY!!!).

 

so are win7 daz loader activated working on win10 upgrade? if it is its amazing how sad MS security is

So far so good. Its proof that M$ is moving to a service business model, and need to rope in as many as possible to start their customer base.

Now after a year I have bets there will be a review to see if its paid off.

 

You'd be the first, what i doubt so far. Permanent activation needed at least short contact so far.

MTK still only stores the old tokens .

 

it checks the activation when you turn the net back on and confirms it's legit

 

Now if I was running M$, I would be recording those who activate DAZ loaders and other questionable legit systems. If over the year I see an upswing in thse people buying M$ products, like apps, then I would let the questionable upgrades stay.

BUT if there is no gain, then I would suddenly deactivate them.

Today i activated Windows 10 PRO with this method:

1. Clean install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1.

2. Activate with Daz loader 2.2.2.

3. Upgrade to Windows 10 PRO 10240.

4. Download all late july update-s(Check for updates) and restart.

5. Then after 10 minutes Windows is activated permanent (internet must be connected of course).

 

As said, doesn't work without. No need to think the backup was, since that works flawlessly without any backup at all .

 

MS will not deactivate DAZ because they want to own all little computer people , even the few who figure things out.
