Go see response in the other thread you were asking. Basically nothing wrong. Servers are taking too many requests for activation. It will activate automatically in the next couple of days.

Been out for a few hours so didnt get a chance to do a clean install til now. I have a Dell XPS 8700 Desktop. I already upgraded to Windows 10 HOME but I want to do the clean install with disc, the thing is I cant get into BIOS in order to change it so that it reads the disc when it boots up, Ive tried pressing F12 when I see the Dell logo, Ive also pressed F2 and nothing happens..for a second I saw a white screen but nothing happened not sure what to do

You have to go into update and security, recovery, advanced startup and restart there. Otherwise windows 10 block those bios keys

Thought maybe you wanted to try and see if it worked since you have 3d printer, we could learn if it would work, jk, lol:D

My Windows 8.1 home was legit, its a Dell PC and it came with it so I dont need to worry about that I just prefer a clean install with disc like I did with the laptop but I cant get into BIOS

I just told you how to do so. did you read it. Restart that way if you want to boot from DVD otherwise Windows 10 blocks getting into bios or booting for DVD

YOu might need a tool from dell to boot into the bios from windows and turn off fast boot and turn on csm. Or use recovery boot and select the UEFI shell option under advanced.

When you see Dell logo, tap on F2, keep tapping F2:D

She need to go to settings and reboot from there or Windows 10 won't let it happen.
