I shouldn't have to unless their is a problem with the GWX reservation process & Un-sure which one is right for my surface pro
That`s why I reserved it so it downloads the correct version & installs it correctly

MS servers are overloaded is why you are having problems

What OS do you have I'll tell you what version you need

My GWX download was 4.09GB, would not work so downloaded ISO with tool

 

On My Desktop It as Windows 8.1 Pro +WMC x64 I`m In The Uk so Need en-gb
& My Surface Pro As Windows 8.1 x64 Again Region Is Same As Desktop
My Surface Pro Came With windows 8 & Upgraded to 8.1 through the store

 

what can i say i'm still with the upgrade 15 days now ..which i have make from win 7 to win 10 haha

 

Upgraded to Pro, I don't know if language pack comes with that but should have one on first page if not

i had a issue getting update on my inlaws from 7. all i did was delete the store data folder for downloads. rebooted it downloaded again. then installed. wouldnt and had same error 5 times. till i wiped that data.

 

If you upgraded with FaiKee's image, the new image version is different, will not work or it did not for me

I have a question about "search" in the taskbar, when I want to find a file, not in C: \ (OS), using the Windows key and type a name, I don't see the results, I'm looking for documents located in D:\ , I have to go to "My Stuff" and do some sport work to find them, how to find them at the first time when typing their name (from search box in taskbar), thank you very much

 

Run in Cmd ADMIN prompt type sfc /scannow

Bring up file explorer and try search in there
