At the end of the log it always lists which files had the problem. In your case it was speech dll mui files.
*shrugsville* Remember when it had that weird problem with powershell database or something? I really have no idea what causes this sort of thing. Only thing I can guess is that maybe slight mismatch with the way wimlib does data streams and win10 setup? I would test this script version against ms media creation tool version and see if we can replicate the bug.
I did it..I think its working put boot #1 as Internal Optical Disc Drive and when I rebooted it asked me to press any key but now it seems to be stuck on the Dell LOGO when I pressed any key so not sure whats going on here Edit: Its working now its at setup is starting
Its cool I got it going..went to boot 1 selected Optical Disc Drive and its installing the windows 10..I skipped putting in my serial # since once installed microsoft automatically activates it, my windows 8.1 was legit so Im good
You did well. Hope that you enjoy Windows 10. After Windows 10 is up and running remember to go back into the BIOS and return the boot devices to their original settings.
Looks like MS and/or any OEM support should hire doggie, murphy and some others here to get this done. As long as MDL runs, the world should do likewise, but beware if not .
Oh WOW I didnt think I had to do that..I know I never did that on the laptop when I went into the BIOS..so after its all installed I have to go into BIOS again and change boot 1 back to the USB storage that it was on first?
Not really necessary to chance but more for security as your DVD drive is your #1 boot device and if you have bootable media in the drive it will boot from the DVD. If you are happy with that then just motor on and enjoy.
Can you upgrade to a legit activation on multiple editions. Right now I have a legit Home key but then I could install Pro + Daz loader then maybe get a Pro Win10 activation since it seems Home cannot shut down Windows defender
It depends on the error whether it can be repaired or not. The Preview had issues to detect it's own system compression properly and therefor failed to repair the mis-detected files. Was more a non-integrated feature that caused this. SFC never got the needed Memo .
Oh if that is the only reason then I will leave things alone I never ever leave anything in the DVD Rom Drive, in fact other than this windows 10 disc I never use the drive LOL..but at least I know that later on if I choose to I can just go back into BIOS and change boot 1 back to USB storage..as long as my hard drive boots up thats all that really matters Now my Windows 8.1 that I had through Dell was legit, but when I installed Windows 10 I remembered to skip through activation and serial # since microsoft automatically activates it anyway is that correct
We're like the Black Market tech support. We'll help you, but if you ask if it's legal, we'll always tell you to go buy the product.
As said the Preview SFC didn't recognize new system compression and failed to match the hashes. Abbodi noted this.
