Do you have the checksums or MD5 hashes for these files that would be greatly appreciated and very useful info for the OP in my opinion
im not educated in these stuff so question: I own a legit key, so can i upgrade from this version and get a proper win 10 key (prolly not but doesnt hurt to ask)?
Got my clean install of 10240 Pro to activate w/ Insider account after I did this: 1. upgraded to 10240 from 10166 via WU 2. clean install 10240 with key ending in 3V66T 3. signed in during setup w/ Insider MSU It auto-activated itself, so no watermark when I was at desktop.
The activation of Enterprise of this build number through KMS is not permanent. It is only going to last for 180 days.
excellent, upgrading on two computers,x86 & x64 went really good,no problems, one strange thing the animation on the photos tile on the x86 computer is different then the other,on x86 the images fade in to change and the photos app icon is displayed in the bottom right of the tile on top of the images,my other computer x64 on the photo tile, the images change by sliding up and the icon isn't shown on the tile as well. there is a security update already, will need a reboot to install.
How come I don't get the 10240 build update? I'm on 10166 right now, when I clicked on Check for Updates, it said there's nothing and is up to date?
I don't think they start to show until you've been opted into the program for at least a day. I could be mistaken, but for the last few months it's been like that for me.
