    No keys to find, but a generic. Your HWID is your unique key. Nothing to save nor to enter any Keys, always Skip and all will be good.

    I went from windows 7 to 10, but my key didn't carry over and i didn't save it in a file. ;( How do I activate windows 10 home single language version if it's already installed? Thanks.

    You don't need a key if you upgraded from 7. Just reinstall and skip key it will activate

    I fixed the error by mounting an installation DVD and by using this command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:X:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess .Then repaired it with sfc /scannowThanks for the pointer, Murphy.
