Installed LTSB ank key. Phone activation says invalid ID, but PID checker says valid and still has count and shows X19-98723.

Not sure whats wrong!

 

I'm assuming the key was a GVlK key and the phone activation system will never attempt to activate one of those types of keys

 

What key ...? Valid doesn't mean much here . I can generate a key that is valid if you ask pkeyconfig ... answer from MS Server still would be:

In case the License Channel is VOLUME_KMSCLIENT the phone activation doesn't work, it will prompt you that.
