Tell doggie the point in 'hacking' system files, when a simple SFC will remove (NOTE: this is done by some Security Updates likewise) .
Thought about that You got me there --- thought of something similar like with @Krutonium's Windows 10 Login Background Changer every time you you run an update, it would reset the wallpaper back to default because of the file integrity check that windows update performs Im guessing the reason is because it's able to tell that the ownership of the file was tampered with. If it was modified and had default permissions I'm sure it wouldn't catch anything
#1. Best would be to do in RAM, without tampering the file. #2. Supersedes #1. since a true 'Pirate' would opt for the biggest SKU fitting his needs, so either Pro or Ent. #3. Edu......wut?
When I open some windows like 'System' window and try to close then it reopens again immediately. Any ideas how to fix it? I reported this half a year ago as insider and still not fixed.
No, the Win10 upgrade was to a retail, no chit, Win7 Pro and everything was activated just fine. I don't know if one of the updates that came in screwed everything up or what, but she doesn't need 10. I don't either, reloaded my image backup of my 8.1 install last night - got rid of the Win10 related updates that were installed on it already, and am running it fat, dumb and happy. There is nothing in Win10 that I need and a whole lot that I don't need.
