I install 240 Pro Retail in VMware from Recovery Drive which I made in my BIOS (not UEFI) computer from activated 240 Pro Retail and is in MSA.
And 240 Pro Retail installed in VMware in my computer is activated in local account.
What information required Microsoft Activation Server for this local activation? :)

So when they push Service Release 1 on Monday, is build number going to change?

I know that if you were part of the insider preview program & clean installed it before "RTM" then subsequently upgraded to the "RTM" you got Windows 10 for free. I have it running on a Vista laptop & have left the insider's program & no slmgr option reports any time bomb.

Is Media Center supported in Windows 10?
No. Persons who need to use Media Center should consider carefully before upgrading from their previous version of Windows. The Windows 10 upgrade will automatically remove any installations of Media Center.

Find another DVD player, lot's of free one's out there

Link in sig about WMC Win 10 FAQ's :D

Some how I have it too, I was Insider, opted out of program, downloaded RTM and upgraded over Insider build and it says activated, don't know how or why, maybe in the confusion a few slipped by?:D

I have installed Win10 Pro at the moment. Is it recommended (or is there an advantage) to install Win10 Enterprise?

Nope. There's nothing much. Plus if your going that route there's only KMS for enterprise
it won't be permanent activation :D

upgraded to windows 10 and it is permanently activated. Retail channel.

Can I install office 2013 VL and activate it using MTK without jeopardizing my windows 10 activation?

I would stick with Pro even with the update thing, someone will find a way around what it is now Forceware, then MS will come and change it, I hope.:D

Thanks. Yes. I realized now. When I use 'I copied' no activation made. :)
