I've used this program for last 10 years, never had problem with it, I respect Paul's opinion, but I like it
Whenever I go to that page & click on "Get Windows 10" after signing in it just takes me to the "Download Windows 10" page. Granted I am doing this from a Windows 7 machine but previously you could download for the PC without any problems doing this
don't misunderstand me my friend: These tweakers sometimes do a good job if you know how to handle them. Worst case if you hit the automatic button and it does something where you cannot alter specific settings. For cleaning purpose CCleaner is a nice tool but I cannot recommend the registry section at all and this apply to Cacheman as well as for all other tweaker softs. Don't touch registry if you don't know what it does
I don't know what the updates entail, though! No release notes. Is this the trend for all future Windows updates?
Eh, lists of stuff they changed is fine, but they listed the file changes. That's even better. If you know what each file does, you know exactly what changes they've done.
ok i have asked this once before about a week ago im not sure if no one seen it are not sure how to answer it or if its just my computer doing it but thought i would ask it again and i also have a new question now after looking around on the internet how do you delete desktop icons ? i have the main account as i am account administrator and i have all kinds of icons and that's fine as i can delete the short icons with no problem how ever i made my wife a account and put her as a local account so she could not mess up the pc just like i did in win 7 but when i go over to her account and try to delete the some of the desktop icons it wants to remove the hole program not just the desktop icons 2 has any one also had this problem when i made her her account i had to password both accounts other wise when you restarted the pc or did a cold start it would boot up into the last account it was on thanks for any and all help in this problem all of that is with windows 10 pro as i had windows 7 ult. 3. i have seen all over the internet looking at windows 10 when you hit the start icon there is a search box well i dont have that did i do something wrong with my update ? also i can tell you if you update from 7 you do have your win dvd player for free like ms tells you you will have but if after and you do a clean install you loose it it is not tied to your activation but it is tied to your windows 7 or 8.1 only thats just for your info as i know most ppl use a different player but i never have
I wish Microsoft would publish the changelog that it gives to Gold Partners that are enrolled in the EEAP program. Wzor has leaked a few of these. They are detailed about what each update changes/fixes. It's a mystery to me why Microsoft wants to keep those hush-hush.
hell even IE11 is better than Edge at this point. Maybe someday Edge will grow up like all the other browsers and play nice. lol
