    well I think u dont understand, that Windows as Service = updates all the time = you will reinstall your pc every like 14 days? wow that must be hard for you

    Windows 10 Build 10240 Start Menu Gone

    Start Menu was working after upgrade, then it just stopped working.
    How do I enable it.

    Is this the bootable ISO? Can I use "clean install"?

    They say that there is no "clean install" option here, only "upgrade" from preview build option. What about the keys?

    I'm activated on windows 10 pro for testing I upgraded to enterprise and had to activate with MTK toolkit it works but You are activated for 180 days :D So I'm gonna stick to pro for now :tea:

    Another test I just did I have left the insider program and Yes you have to reboot after that and windows still is activated how about that :D

    How to install Windows 10 build 10240 clean?

    Hi guys! Sorry for the probably stupid question, but here it is:

    I tried once one of the first Windows 10 previews that was posted by Microsoft. However, then I removed it and went back to Windows 8.1. Now I wanna try the new build on a clean installation but all I see are those 2GBs ESD files which I am not sure how to deal with. Can you please tell me what is the easiest way to install that 10240 on a clean installation?

    If this will stay the activation method. The biggest fail of Microsoft. At least announce something.

    MS KSM still the same version from 8.1 ?
    Or all things changed ? Anyone know if we can expect a "Microsoft Toolkit" supporting W10 ?

    Fails to update from 10162 for me. Update failed, click here for more info > WU opens with last checked at XX:XX and no other info (even under history).

    Tried twice. Gonna wait for an ISO methinks.

    Well just done a fresh install and people who said it was activated early on now has stopped . [h=1]error 0xc004c003[/h]

    may be you have corrupted files, try: sfc /scannow

    otherwise you will need to use "Refresh" option.

    Morning folks.

    Jeeze this thread moved at a frantic pace overnight!!! :eek: Just caught up.

    Still no one has tried making an activation backup and then restoring into a clean install - just to verify it works as in Win 8.1?

    Im having issues getting Pro to activate. I have been using Enterprise on the insider program on my Lenovo Laptop but want to go back to Pro for this build.

    So from what I read is to clean install 10166 Pro, but the key I used from the 10166 post wont activate for me. Says it invalid. Worked on the install but after I get to the desktop it says I have to enter another key. How can I activate 10166 so I can update to 10240? Also this build is not coming up on the fast ring 10166. Do you think my MSA is tied to enterprise?
