Hi, I have a question concerning the iso. They are in possession of two iso, and have almost identical names, except the language, and I know for a fact that the en-US version accept the OEM product key, it names: J_CCSA_X64FRE_EN-US_DVD5 (my product key OEM accepted) J_CCSA_X64FRE_IT-IT_DVD5 By controlling the iso images I noticed that the en-US version also has the folder "etwprovider". Accept my product key also the native version in Italian? Thanks beforehand who may give me explanations.
For those who don't get the "upgrade to windows 1511" offer in windows update. On my main system i have 10240 which has been modded so the red text appears in Settings/Windows update (some settings are managed by....), it's not getting the offer to upgrade. On a test system i installed a clean win 10240 and after the normal updates it offered to upgrade to windows 1511. Can someone of the trusted mdl members confirm this?
i had exactly same here on one of the test boxes, red text and not getting, just did a usb upgrade on it, i will see how it goes in the future re updates, moved on..no time today to play.
That's right the Upgrade contains one update which you will get into 10586.3, i heard too .iso it does not contain that, but i guess you can get the latest update via WU after you upgraded from .iso?
yes. I don't like upgrading. I prefer clean install. After couple months your OS become slowly and I don't think upgrading is good idea.
I always disable AU, and have that red text, nevertheless 10586 is offered normally when i check manually
Ditto, same here. Disabling auto updates has never stopped updates being offered when you manual check.
Can Windows 10 Build 10240 be used forever since it does not have a timebomb or expiration date? I think I just answered my own Question But seriously, the latest Win10 build keeps crashing and blue screening to Death while Win10 Build 10240 keeps running smooth like butter on white bread.
