They will probably not communicate it, especially if it makes them look bad. That's what you get if you get rid of QA...
Hello everyone. I hope I'm in the right thread. I have a Zebra ET50NE-W22E tablet with Windows 8.1 Embedded and I would like to reinstall the original Windows which is: Windows 10 IoT Ent 2015 LTSB Sml Tablet. Is it possible to find it somewhere? Does anyone have any advice? I have the impression that this version is nowhere to be found?
Better install ltsb 2016 and activate with massgrave hwid Ltsb 2015 are end of life in 2025 Stuck in net framework 4.6 and buggy os check Ltsb 2016 end of life are in october 2026 and you can add net framework 4.8 ( latest are 4.8.1 )
Thank you very much for your reply. I've never installed windows on a tablet and I'm a bit of a beginner. I'm getting lost in all the versions, can you give me the exact name of the version to download or a link? I know it's a lot but is there a tutorial for this on mdl? I'm going to look for one, and I'll also take a look at how activation works with massgrave hwid. Also, won't this cause problems with essential drivers? Risque of brick? As it's a Zebra tablet I want to be very careful (it was worth quite a bit Thanks again for your help
Just for the record, I was able to upgrade Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64 to Windows 10 2015 LTSB while preserving user apps and data using standard installation media (choosing not to upgrade installer). Then I successfully performed a direct upgrade using the 2021 installation media to the latest Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 (withnout installing updates to the 2015 LTSC version and the 2021 installer), followed by an edition switch to IoT Enterpriseāall without losing user data or apps.
@Jiri, that is correct, with later LTSB/C's the direct upgrade path is blocked, this can be used for direct upgrades to the blocked builds (non ltsb/c too): UpgradeMatrix.xml FiX Tool (Very Beta) It also includes the simple "EditionID" option.
