[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Build 10240

Please language pack spanish for windows 10 10240 core x64 bits,the links are acces denied,I like the new windows,please for my english I live in spain

So, I downloaded the above file, converted it to ISO using the instructions+script(1) by Nucleus (thank you!!)

Code:

en_windows_10_pro_10240_x64_dvd.iso 
MD5: 2be855afd20c5543a6e65093a7e7b88a

and mounted the ISO from inside Windows and ran setup:
chose to upgrade my installation.
No activation key was required during the upgrade.
All went well!!
Activation is retained.

I have two drawers on my PC, so I can switch from an OS to another. On one HDD I had 10162 upgraded to 10166 via WU, and got 10240 this morning. all ok.
So i switched to an SSD where 10166 has been installed last week from an ISO I made from install.esd grabbed from the HDD. - Fresh install on the SSD -
Problem is: WU does not offer the 10240 update on the SSD. The Win10 version is activated and I used a separate MS account.
If I use the setup from the ESD / ISO, will the 10240 can upgrade and activate ?
All I have read show there is no Key to activate now or will the 10166 key (pro version) will remain ok.?

I still don't know what this is but I am convinced it won't expire. I disconnected from my MSA and rebooted, still activated. Then booted into the bios and set the clock ahead 5 years and rebooted, still activated. Went back into the bios and set the clock back to this year, rebooted, still activated. Reconnected to msa and still activated. Don't know what is left to try.

 

Sorry folks but this thread is moving at a rate pages per minute!!!

Did anyone forward the BIOS clock yet?

Is the output from software licensing manager and winver enough top prove it isn't time-bimbed?

It turned from pro to enterprise instead of activating Pro!!!

You should have just pmed me the Pro key and not let me used the 1st thing that popped out on the net.

Now how will i turn from enterprse to Pro ?

 

3V66T is what is used by setup.exe and windows update for all of my PRO installs. And it turned yours to enterprise? Really?

Actualy you can't downgrade from Enterprise to Pro you have to reinstall Pro or activate Enterprise with MTK and proper key

Untouched ESDs and MSDN ISOs yes ... self-generated ISOs from ESDs (aka Homebrews) not .

 

And apparently it will stay activated even if you disconnect from your insiders msa. So ideally if you have an insiders msa but don't want to get updates all the time after the 29th you can use your insiders msa to upgrade and then disconnect it and go on your merry old way never looking back.

 

All activated insider lifteime = forever! °_° Haha.. - Test the best windows ever^_^ forever...
