Tried upgrading a Windows 7 Professional that was legit OEM licensed and the upgrade went through fine, but didn't activate. Simply said the key was blocked. Maybe because I chose to keep nothing?
been reading this thread for a while but I just have one question. I currently have windows 8.1 core legit version. I assume I have to upgrade to a Core version of Win10 to activate correct?
What method can i do to permanently activate 10240 pro edition. If i dont have activated 10166 installed anymore?
It seems that the SHA1 of the esd obtained through WU for the same edition and lang is different for everyone. Anybody know why?
I don't know for sure but I believe what you will see on the 29th is this same code along with a bunch of updates on WU.
Hmm ... MS stated that suspicious licenses won't be activated after upgrade. This doesn't even mean a pirated OS, but MS Server unable to prove the legitimacy. Was expected to hit even legit users, you might be such a victim .
