I have the same issue with you. People here are saying the SHA-1 value of the file 10240.16384.150709-1700.th1_clientpro_ret_x64fre_en-us_9d40e15f430ab89a1eabb165acbf40c9f07d18bb.esd is 9d40e15f430ab89a1eabb165acbf40c9f07d18bb as the file name said. But the one I downloaded from Microsoft was 3D247DAF2868CA7DD3E2DFDD65F4B57B95869065 just like yours. So I downloaded the same file but the SHA-1 value 9d40e15f430ab89a1eabb165acbf40c9f07d18bb from here and then ran the decrypt script. (If you see the "Encrypted ESD Backup is OFF. Press 9 to toggle" message below the menu options, make sure to press "9" to back up the original esd file.) And guess what? The esd file used with the decrypt script(not the backed-up copy) had the SHA-1 value with 3D247DAF2868CA7DD3E2DFDD65F4B57B95869065. If you use the one with 3D247DAF2868CA7DD3E2DFDD65F4B57B95869065 with decrypt script, the SHA-1 value stays and also you won't see the option message to back up the esd file. Hope that would relief you.

I have legit Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and I want to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro x64, but I want a CLEAN installation on a formatted SSD. Is there an ISO for that and how would I get free activation from Windows 8.1 Pro x64 if I do a clean Windows 10 Pro x64 install on formatted SSD? Is 10240 just an insider preview build or has MS officially signed off and made THE TRUE RTM build???

You upgrade your existing Win 8.1 installation first, it's activated. Thereafter you can clean install. EFA11, RAIN and Mr Magic have all posted that they have done this on Win 7/8.1 machines with no probs. Popular opinion now seems to be that this is indeed RTM and their will be updates prior to/on 29th (General Availability). Possibly new ISO's who knows yet. Edit: Forum starting to crawl like last night again. Anyone else?
Sorry, this is wrong. I just re-downloaded all of the ones listed and they check out fine. It's important to note that if you decrypt the esd, it will change the contents and thus fail to match the hash.
What am I doing wrong? Can not activate 10240 build. Downloaded ESD, converted to iso as stated in first post, made a clean install on empty ssd but can not activate it... There is no automatic activation for me, I was asked 2x for a key during installation! Skipped that and was hoping that windows will activate itself automatic as I can see on this forum. I am registered in insider program, but it doesnt make any difference. Any ideas?
So there won't be any new builds after rtm? Right? And if there are will new users who buy new pc will have to upgrade their windows right? since the build that comes with their pc will be rtm

You have to UPGRADE the first time to this build. If you install directly to it, the only activation will be KMS. You might try the winloader workaround.
