    I just tried that. Clean install of 10240 with the 3V66T key. It won't activate.

    Excuse my noob question...

    I upgraded from W7 to 10162, used my insider account and selected fast ring, and installed all regular updates (which was only Defender and MSRT). Then what?

    How do I get 10240?

    I did indeed. Very strange. I just reinstalled 7 on the laptop, and will wait until the 29th, it's not that important on this machine. Desktop rig worked just fine.

    No need to enter key - Skip. You must upgrade first, thereafter you can clean install.

    Edit: Apologies to all, already answered by others. I'm having trouble posting again - like last night, forum is very slow for me.

    I recalled I used the script without pressing 9 to create a backup even I told to do so in here.
